linda sue and matt got a new puppy this weekend (from a rescue! yay linda sue and matt! you saved a tiny fuzzy life.) linda sue is of course the most indecisive person i know, so the little guy still doesn’t have a name. ah well, he’s cute.

*edit* puppy has a name! meet duncan!

these are my new red shoes. they’re golas. it took me a few days to decide to actually get them, and then they turned out to be the very last pair that zappos.com had. lucky me. they are freaking adorable, and make me feel just a little bit sexy when i wear them. which is where we get to the sad part, as i will probably almost never wear them. see, the only clothes i have are jeans and t-shirts, and these shoes look somewhat ridiculous with jeans and a t-shirt. i wanted to wear these shoes so bad i went out shopping for clothes (something i absolutely hate since being pregnant). sadly, i’m not allowed to be short, have somewhat narrow shoulders, and rather large breasts all at the same time. no new shirts for me.

it pissed me off a lot. i do watch what not to wear. i know that there are shirts out there somewhere that should fit me. but where are they? how do i find them? can shirts be tailored? how do you know whether tailoring will help a shirt or not? and lastly, how the hell am i supposed to afford to have all my clothes tailored?

i ended up going home at the end of a long night of shopping feeling fat and ugly, and wishing i hadn’t bought the damn shoes in the first place.

this somewhat sad little rose was left out on the back porch in the rain. not sure what’s going to happen to it. maybe it will be planted somewhere it can be happy.

this lovely little lady’s hamilton is sadly beyond repair. it’s rusted to the point that there isn’t a way for us to fix it. too bad.
