that’s all life has been since friday. we had family dinner number five of six today, and we move tomorrow. here’s a simple summary of the last few days, and then i don’t know how soon i’ll be back around.
brokeback mountain - awesome movie, made me want to cry, but i couldn’t. go see this now.
christmas - had so much fun, will be getting many new clothes because of gift cards, jon is so sweet!
moving - we’ve already moved the majority of our books and kitchen in, thanks to both jon’s and my mom, now we just have to finish up packing the odds and ends here, and get the furniture ready to move.
did i mention we move tomorrow? and we have to get the truck at 9 am. it’s 11 pm now. someone shoot me. i’ve gotten an average of five hours sleep each night since friday night. i have a feeling i’m going to crash as soon as we have sheets on the bed and everyone is out of the new apartment. bye for now, i’ll give an update when we get the comps hooked up again.
i’ve just finished up with two custom monsters, and i think they turned out great!

i’m going to be taking a break until the new year. there’s an incredible amount of family gatherings planned, as well as moving to a new home. i’m probably going to be too busy to knit. there are several monsters planned already for the new year, and i may not be able to wait! new yarn is hard to resist, so we shall see.
i can’t wait to move. i was so cold last night! i can’t wait to be able to control my own heat. i’m also looking forward to the end of all the stress that living here entails.
does anyone know what the micron ratings of wool roving mean? is the lower the micron the softer the wool, or is it the other way around?

they’re just like little monsters, but teeny! they’re about 3″ high, and they’re little wings and beaks are too cute! i love them, but they will be winging their way to plain mabel tomorrow. all of the monsters i sent her last week sold already! i hope this keeps up ;)
i’ve been busy. a new contract with plain mabel has put me into monster overdrive! one of these little guys is also a custom order.

and here we have bert and ernie! their colors remind me of something from sesame street, so i couldn’t resist the names :)
chickadee is an adorable spring chicken.
and finaly, rabbit. he’s made of kureyon, which attracted every microscopic piece of lint in the dryer.
this has all been made in the last week! i can’t believe i can make them so fast now!
