these seem to be popping up everywhere, so i thought i would do one too.

you select words that you think describe me, and they’re compared to the words i think describe myself. that’s oversimplifying, but there’s a better description at the website.
i’ve decided i need a little break from monsters, so i’ve started on a baby sweater for my sister. no, she’s not pregnant yet, but they’re trying. i figured i’d get some knitting out of the way early, so that i won’t be rushed once the little monster decides to come along. i’m trying to pick gender neutral colors, and i’m thinking this is looking adorable already. i will have to find the perfect yellow ducky buttons for it once it’s done!

i’m very happy with how this new scarf came out:

it’s braided, and only took me about half an hour to do. i had two balls of handpainted bulky that i didn’t know what to do with. the one was lilac/blue/yellow varigated, and i didn’t like how it looked on its own. it looks perfect held together with the pure lilac and braided. i think i’ll be making a few more of these :)
i just saw walk the line this afternoon. what an amazing movie. if you haven’t seen it yet, you have to check it out. what a nice afternoon, watching a movie with jon, enjoying being snowed in :D
there has been an influx of cute things lately, so i thought i would document them :) first is from while she naps. look at the super cute mouse stuffy!

so adorable! the little scarf it the perfect touch. check out abby’s blog to see her other adorable creatures (available for purchase at etsy!)
and next, i would like to introduce my new friend, Mr. Bun Bun. Mr. Bun Bun lives downstairs, and likes to have the spot between his eyes rubbed. truthfully, i have no idea if “Mr.” is appropriate, but he’s not complaining, so i’m going to keep calling him that. Mr. Bun Bun enjoys carrots and romain lettuce, as well as some nice alfafa ocassionaly.

so cute!
man, i’ve been very bad about keeping up with posts in this blog! i’ve made several new monsters.
first, the love monsters!

and next, the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

i love him. if you think i’m crazy, just visit wikipedia and do a search for “flying spaghetti monster”. you’ll find i’m not the only one :)
jon just brought me food, so i’m going to cut this post short. tooroo!
