and bunnies! but the frogs are available imediatly for anyone who is interested. the bunnies have a potential home, but they need to be looked at first. clicking on melvin or sylvia’s pictures will take you to their respective etsy listings. clicking on the bunny pictures will take you to a gallery of thumbnails, which can be clicked to view a larger image.

i really love how the frogs turned out. their little bumpy eyes are too darned cute! i’m hoping to get some different colors of yarn today, and if i’m lucky i might be able to try and make a toad. just imagine all his little warty bumps, so cute!

1) How old do you wish you were?
Today is my birthday. I have no problems with being 24.

2) Where were you when 9/11 happened?
Driving to school. When I got there, we tried to follow what was going on with the TV in our classroom, but the nuns wouldn’t let us watch it if our professor wasn’t there (she was late). Keep in mind this is college, and quite a few of the students were older than the professor.

3) What do you do when vending machines steal your money?
Kick it. Repeatedly.

4) Do you consider yourself kind?
for the most part

5) If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be?
I have one of the White Tree of Gondor on my back. I would like to get one just below the inside of my elbow that says “living is easy with eyes closed” or “life goes on within you and without you”. The second one might be a bit too long for the space.

6) If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be?
Japanese.

7) Do you know your neighbors?
I know there names, and I know that they watch TV until ungodly hours of the night.

8) What do you consider a vacation?
Being away from work and relaxing.

9) Do you follow your horoscope?
No. I think it’s rather ridiculous.

10) Would you move for the person you loved?
Yes, but luckily Jon works from home, so I don’t really see that happening.

11) Are you touchy feely?
Absolutely not. Jon is the only one who can touch me and I’m comfortable about it. I don’t like touching other people, even shaking hands and such.

12) Do you believe that opposites attract?
They may attract, but I’ve rarely seen them last.

13) Dream job?
Playing with kittens.

14) Favorite channel(s)?
BBC america, TLC

15) Favorite place to go on weekends?
I really enjoy being home. If we have a few days off we might go out to run errands, but we spend a lot of it lounging around relaxing. We’re lazy home bodies.

16) Showers or Baths?
Showers

17) Do you paint your nails?
No.

18) Do you trust people easily?
No. I’ve been burned too many times.

19) What are your phobias?
Bugs, heights, closed in spaces.

20) Do you want kids?
Good god no.

21) Do you keep a handwritten journal?
No

22) Where would you rather be right now?
Vancouver, at the little chinese garden just outside of Chinatown.

23) Who makes you feel warm and fuzzy?
Taters!

24) Heavy or light sleeper?
very light *grumbles about noisy neighbors*

25) Are you paranoid?
Yes. I hate that my bathroom mirror is facing the door. I’m always paranoid that I’m going to see someone in the mirror behind me. I think I watched too many X-files at too young an age.

26) Are you impatient?
Very much so.

27) Who can you relate to?
I don’t get this question.

28) How do you feel about interracial couples?
What is this? A meme from the 50s? Who has a problem with interracial couples anymore?

29) Have you been burned by love?
No.

30) What’s your favorite pick-up line?
“Is that a spatula on your head, or are you just glad to see me?”

31) What’s your main ring tone on your mobile?
Ugh, I don’t have a mobile. I hate talking on the phone even when I’m home. I don’t want to make it easier for people to bother me when I’m out and about. I hate mobiles, if you can’t tell.

32) What were you doing at midnight last night?
Watching brainless television on the sofa with Jon while he played with the nintendo DS.

33) What did the last text on your cellphone say?
Ugh, again with the cell phones!

34) Whose bed did you sleep in last night?
Mine.

35) What color shirt are you wearing?
Brown.

36) Most recent movie you watched?
Jon and I watched Snatch again in the last couple days, can’t remember exactly when.

37) Name three things you have on you at all times.
I’m assuming this means when I leave the house: Wallet, chapstick, keys.

38.) What color are your bed sheets?
Ivory.

39) How much cash do you have on you right now?
$60.00

40) What is your favorite part of the chicken?
Thighs, they’re easier to eat than legs, but not as dry and bland as the breasts.

41) What’s your favorite town/city?
Vancouver. Cleanest, friendliest city I’ve ever been in.

42) I can’t wait till:
I can get a kitten :(

43) Who got you to join LJ?
I don’t remember at this point, and now I’ve sort of moved on to a blog instead.

44) What did you have for dinner last night?
Shrimp, and lots and lots of snacks. Mmm, brownies.

45) How tall are you barefoot?
5′ 1/2″

46) What are your three favorite songs of the moment?
The Beatles - Fixing a Hole
Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls
The Beatles - Penny Lane

47) Do you own a gun?
No.

48) What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
Water or V8

49) What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite/same sex?
Not a clue. I got Jon drunk as a fish, that seemed to work.

50) What car do you wish you owned?
Mini! I want either a gun metal grey one with black racing stripes, or the robin’s egg blue with white stripes. Of course, if someone wants to give me one for free I’ll take any color :)

51) Do you wear your seatbelt?
Always

52) Have you ever had sex on the first date?
No

53) Are you looking forward to the end of the Bush administration?
Yes!

54) Have you ever had a friend die?
Yes

55) Will you go to your next high school reunion, which one is it, and (be honest) will you go on a diet before then?
hmm, I guess the next one would be 2010. I doubt I’ll go. Jon really hated high school, and I wouldn’t want to drag him against his will. Maybe if we’re super rich by then we’ll go, just so we can rub it in the faces of everyone who was cruel to us.

56) Where do you think you’ll be in 10 yrs?
I hope we’re in a nice little house somewhere with happy little kitties. I don’t really care where that house is, as long as it’s not too hot.

57) Last thing you ate?
A bowl of Corn Chex.

58) What songs do you sing in the shower?
I don’t sing in the shower.

59) Last thing that made you laugh?
British humor, Jon doing silly things…I’m stumped for anything else right now, sorry.

60) Worst injury you’ve ever had?
Uh…I got a really horrible scratch on the inside of my right arm from a dog who really didn’t want his nails trimmed. I’ve been bitten by a cat, but even though it was in the fleshy part of my thumb, it wasn’t as bad as the scratch. If you go back to the early days of my blog you can see pictures of it.

61) Does someone have a crush on you?
Haha! I hope not! I’m a married woman!

62) What’s your favorite candy?
Oh man, how can you choose? I guess if I could only have one candy for the rest of my life it would be mini butterfinger bars. They’re flakier than the regular sized ones.

63) What song do you want played at your funeral?
The Beatles - In My Life

64) What was your major in college, and what would it be if you could go back and change it, knowing what you know now?
Veterinary Technology. I would not have taken it. The career ended up being way too stressful. I think if I could go back, even to high school, I would get into sculpture instead of the drawing fine arts course I was in. I didn’t take Sculpture I until senior year. I wish I had more time to explore it, because I really loved it.
