my veins are really all crazy now. no stretch marks…yet. i get the feeling they’ll be making an appearance eventually. i got them during my puberty growth spurts, which means i’m more likely to get them now. i don’t have another midwife appointment until dec. 4, hopefully the weight gain will be a little more controlled. i feel like i’ve been doing a lot better. i’ve been doing pretty good with fruits instead of sweets. we’ll just have to see what damage thanksgiving did :) jon and i went out to dinner with his parents to luberto’s tonight, and i think that was a bigger meal than thanksgiving! i stuck to small meals throughout the day though to make up for it.

sorry for the “random stuff crammed together” post, but i’m a little tired, and a little hungry. that doesn’t end well for prego brain!

i’ve made some new little monsters, and changed the eye style. they’re for the baby, and i thought this would be better for a teeny infant than plastic eyes. i’d like to hear what you all think about it. jon and i think they’re adorable, but we are strange people :D

i also put a new monster up on etsy, my first of three pandas (the other two are still in pieces, waiting to be stitched together and felted.)

i’ll probably post new belly pictures next week. we’ll see how much thanksgiving expands me! i need to watch how much junk i’m eating though. i’ve put on 5 lbs since my last midwife visit. too much! it’s supposed to be a pound a week at this stage, and it’s only been two weeks! no more trips to coldstone, and i’m taking all the chocolates the adoptive parents gave me to work. at least oranges have come into season, if i want something sweet i’ve been having one of those instead of something sugary.

monday is (hopefully) my last day at work! hooray! i know i’m probably going to be bored at home, but i’ve been so exhausted these last two weeks. i just don’t have the energy to get up at 5:30 in the morning anymore. i hope johanne adjusts well to taking over my position for a while, because i’m not going back until january at the earliest.
