happy halloween!
This is a little guy I sewed up based on Theresa’s skeleton cut-out freebie. He was so cute, I knew I had to make him. Happy Halloween everyone!

this sign is outside the Love Theater at the Mirage in Las Vegas. That’s where Jon and I spent the last few days. Jim and David gave us a wonderful trip to see the Cirque du Soleil show. We flew out Sunday morning and just got back around 3 am this morning. We had a great time! The show was incredible! We had great seats (there weren’t really any “bad” ones, but we made sure to pick up our tickets early, and were about midway between the stage and the back wall). We had fun wandering around Vegas too. We didn’t gamble, but we did have an incredibly delicious dinner at Sushi Roku, and did a bit of shopping. Thanks so much Jim and David (and Georgia!) for giving us such a wonderful experience!
the guys at work call this a “sexy” movement, and things like this are featured in watchmaking magazine centerfolds.
i think they need to get out more.
you can see the movement spinning in this one, it’s the little blurred circle. in the other photos it looks solid, but in this one you can sort of see the little dots inside the ring of the movement.
i thought this watch was pretty cool. this is the back side of it. it’s set with a crystal instead of a case back so you can see the movement. the front is a normal watch face.
it was raining pretty hard at work on friday. the sun came out full blast right in the middle of it though. i love it when it’s sunshiny and rainy :)
