rhino bowl and elephant spoon
i noticed this little bowl and spoon at my mother-in-law’s coffee station in her kitchen. it’s super tiny, and as everyone knows, super tiny means super cute!

this one came in on friday for a refinish on the case. it has some minor scratches that i couldn’t really see until i was editing the photo, but i couldn’t wait to take a picture of it. this is just the back, and it’s gorgeous! the pictures i took of the front were a bit over-exposed, so i’ll redo them after it’s refinished.
there were some new toys delivered to the shop this week. here’s the new lathe. thrilling, i know.
mom and i went to visit betty today. she had a heart attack last week, and we wanted to see how she was doing. she seems to be great, which is wonderful :) she’s been crocheting to keep busy. i can’t believe the tiny little thread she works with. it would drive me insane.
i’m so glad she’s ok. i was really worried about her.
jon and i got new monitors today. his second monitor was getting a little skitchy, and well, i didn’t have a second monitor! i didn’t even have a widescreen! so now he has two wide screens, and i have a nice new widescreen and my old one (which is really nice video quality, but not wide). you can see my little toy collection scattered across my desk :)
linda sue’s dog max. he’s been calming down lately, which is nice. he was a bit of a freak as a young dog. he’s a beagle/lab mix, and was just nuts. sadly, i think a bit of his calm is coming from his allergies. poor thing is either itching like mad, or doped out on benadryl. at least the benadryl helps. more pics over at flickr. just click the image and it will take you there.
tiny plastic bears from the flower show. all of the plants are real. i guess the bears were an inch or two tall?
i think this shot is adorable. the little one looks so happy!
linda sue’s fish. i remember one is named gretchen, but i forget the other’s name. sorry fishy!
